My Client provides a level of support designed for customers who do not have ready access to power plant performance specialists. They maintain a staff of experienced thermal performance experts who can provide insight into the way a clients plant is operating. With Performance Engineering, they take a proactive approach to finding and diagnosing equipment and instrumentation problems. For each project, one of their experts will connect to the clients DCS (normally PI) with their system to audit plant operation and major component performance. The client will then receive a brief summary report highlighting opportunities and areas of equipment concern. DUTIES/EXPERIENCE

&lt;/br&gt;&lt;/br&gt; You will have extensive power station experience and be conversant with Visual Basic computer language and Microsoft Office Suite applications. 
&lt;/br&gt;&lt;/br&gt; You will possess a formal engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BSc), and have a basic understanding of thermodynamics.
